Spanish adjectives change their forms to match the gender of the nouns they describe. The masculine forms are listed above. To form the feminine adjective, you typically change the “o” ending to an “a” (e.g., “guapo” becomes “gaupa“).

Also, proper adjectives are not capitalized in Spanish like in English. For example, take the sentence “Mi primo es guatemalteco” [“My cousin is Gautemalan”]; the proper adjective “guatemalteco” does not get capitalized.
